Recording Conversations
Once you’ve lost your privacy, you realize you’ve lost an extremely valuable thing.”
–Billy Graham
In many instances, it is illegal for a person to record your conversation without your consent. If you believe that your conversation has been unlawfully recorded, you may have a claim against your employer or other persons. As an employee, you may have the right to record certain conversations if you are a party to that conversation. Moreover, if your employer takes an adverse action against you because you recorded conversations, they may be unlawfully retaliating against you.
