Sexual Harassment

Sexual harassment and sexual assault are far more common in the workplace than most people realize. If you believe that you have been sexually harassed and/or are being subjected to a hostile work environment based on your sex, you have protections under the law. In many cases, your employer may have a policy or procedure outlining what you can or should do when you believe that you have been harassed. You should make sure that you take advantage of those policies and inform your employer, if you think it is safe to do so. You should also consider consulting with an attorney.
